Richmond
From IndianaWiki
Richmond is one of Indiana's largest cities, with a population of about 75,000. Situated on the Ohio state line due east of Indianapolis, the city is the home to Earlham College as well as the branch of Indiana University known as Indiana University East.
The Gennett recording company created some of the earliest jazz recordings in history in a recording studio next to the Whitewater Gorge, a deep crevice running through the middle of the city that was created by the Whitewater River.
